The Heroinez Journey, investigates the classical ballet lexicon in a nonbinary or gender-inclusive exploration of Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey that involves reinterpreting and expanding upon Campbell's framework to accommodate a broader spectrum of gender identities and experiences.
Performance Workshops for Emerging Artists
BNYP offers immersive Performance Workshops that develop the expressive voice and stage presence of dedicated young dancers. Working with experienced professionals, participants investigate movement quality, performance presence, and choreographic interpretation—unleashing a mature, powerful performer.
The program emphasizes technical refinement, preparing dancers for the evolving demands of performance today.
